Important: When attempting to strafe during a fire fight, BE SURE to not turn your back to the opponent and run away! If you are in a fire fight and you feel like you are about to lose because your enemy has one more shot on you, jumping for the last shot works fine if you are good at it. Because this makes you opponent disrupt his rhythm and possibly miss you for the last kill shot.
Some of the best ways to kill opponents on Guardian or any map for that matter is to catch them by surprise. Find some great hiding spots that will guarantee your win in close matches.

You do not have to die. If you are in the middle of a fire fight and your shields drop, drop some grenades and back off (At the very least you get a smoke screen or you may get lucky with a kill). First of all you were most likely going to die 1st anyways, and you are back to start with no weapons
