IS Halo 3 DEFECTIVE ?
It seems like Xbox and Microsoft are being sued by a gamer from San Diego, CA. The gamer claims his copy of Halo 3 is a defective product. In his statement he claims that Halo 3 causes frequent crashes and freezing of his Xbox 360. The lawsuit has sited other gamers who have experienced the same problem. Some have even said that their game system has become inoperable after playing Halo 3.
Some signs that your Xbox 360 has suffered from hardware or software problems would be a blinking red light around the green power on symbol. This is known to the gaming community as the “Ring of Death” covered Here. Why? because for the most part after seeing this red flashing light, you will soon have to send your Xbox to Microsoft for repair.
I know all to well about this issue because I have experienced it first hand. Coincidentally all of this happened to my Xbox after I had purchased Halo 3. But that is just hearsay.
The plaintiff is seeking damages for hardship and possible seeking a class action suit. Microsoft has recently extended it warranty to their consumers.
